Motocaddy Wins Record Number Of Media Awards

Motocaddy, the UK’s biggest electric trolley brand, has picked up a record 13 Editor’s Choice awards for an array of top-performing products recognised by leading consumer publications - Golf Monthly, Today’s Golfer and bunkered, which introduced its inaugural awards this year.

Topping the 11 awards gained in 2022, this year’s biggest choice of best products from Motocaddy was selected by a team of experts at each magazine across four different categories.

“It’s an honour to have won so many prestigious awards for our products on offer this year and we thank the teams across the three publications that hand-picked them against a host of other options on the market,” said Motocaddy Marketing Director, Oliver Churcher.

Today’s Golfer recognised the brand’s dominance across the trolley and bag categories by choosing an unprecedented eight Motocaddy products - three electric trolleys, three bags, the PRO3000 Laser Rangefinder and the CUBE, which remains the UK’s best-selling push trolley.

The brand-new M1 and SE electric trolleys were chosen along with the M5 GPS, with the TG judging panel adding: “Motocaddy’s new M5 (GPS) family is a slick range of electric trolleys – perhaps the most sophisticated and stylish the brand has ever launched. The M5 GPS is a star in the compact range.”

The new super-lightweight Dry-Series waterproof bag was selected once again, continuing its incredible record of picking up an Editor’s Choice award every year since they started. The brand’s popular Pro-Series cart bag and the new HydroFLEX stand bag were also acclaimed.

Now into its sixth year, the Golf Monthly Editor’s Choice Awards promotes a selection of the best 150 golf products that the magazine's team of editors believe will prove to be a hit with golfers globally.

In selecting four Motocaddy products this year, the M5 GPS range was again highlighted in the electric trolley category, with the DHC version getting the nod on this occasion. Also chosen in the same category was the brand-new entry-level SE model, with the team adding: “The SE is one of the best-priced and simplest-to-use options, with the added benefit of all the quality and confidence you enjoy when buying a Motocaddy product.”

The versatile HydroFLEX was again chosen due to its cutting-edge waterproof and super-lightweight carry bag design, which can fit perfectly onto any Motocaddy trolley. For the second year running, Golf Monthly also chose the innovative Flightsafe flight travel cover following extensive use by the testing team.

Launching its first Editor’s choice awards, leading Scottish publication bunkered picked Motocaddy’s flagship M-TECH GPS electric trolley in the competitive category.

“Motocaddy has something for everyone. If you want a trolley that will give you loads of help when playing, then look for the Motocaddy M-TECH,” advised the bunkered editorial team. “This comes with a top-of-the-range GPS screen, which is going to help guide you around the golf course, plus it’s easy to set-up, with a cable-free Lithium battery easy to click into place. If you want to stay connected, you can, with Motocaddy’s Bluetooth connectivity allowing you to see alerts from social media on your trolley. They really do think of everything, don’t they?”

The consumer media accolades follow the brand scooping the sought-after annual Foremost Golf award for a record 12th consecutive year. The compact-folding M1 model was crowned ‘Electric Trolley of the Year’ voted for by almost 1,000 Foremost Golf PGA Professionals across the UK. The award took into account every brand stocked by members during the 2023 season, including those outside the approved suppliers list.

“It’s great to see so many Motocaddy products being recognised by the equipment experts charged with reviewing the best products in the market, and it shows that we have excellent products in our range to suit any golfer. The team at Motocaddy can be proud of these accolades and we’ll continue to work hard to develop more award-winning products,” added Churcher.
